Hoxton Electrical completed this porch lighting installation in Hackney Wick, East London.
The installation required a surface-mounted wiring system suitable for the existing timber structure. Black conduit was used to route the electrical installation neatly around the porch while keeping the containment visually consistent with the dark timber finish.

The timber construction made a surface-mounted installation the practical approach, allowing the electrical containment to remain accessible without unnecessarily disturbing the existing finish.
The conduit route was planned around the structural timber and openings, with fittings positioned to provide lighting along the covered porch.
Using black containment also helped the electrical installation sit naturally against the existing dark timber rather than introducing visually intrusive white containment.
